Thank you for your interest in attending Channing Hall! Enrollment is open to all students, without discrimination, on the same basis as other public schools.
Because the number of interested students usually exceeds the capacity of our school (675 students), we admit students chosen randomly in a lottery. In accordance with Utah law, preference is given to teachers' children and siblings of current students.
Lottery applications for the upcoming 2024-25 school year will be accepted from December 15th, 2024 through February 2nd, 2025. The lottery will be drawn on or around the week of February 3rd.
Any application submitted before that time must be resubmitted to be entered into the drawing. We are accepting late applications and will be added to the bottom of our waitlist.
Families may submit only one application. Applicants will received an email with the lottery results.
If an application is drawn for admission, you will have five days to respond up until August 1st, after that time applicants will be given 24 hours to respond.
Applicants, please remember to update your contact information if it changes after submitting your lottery application.
We have open enrollment throughout the school year if there is room in the program. Transfer students must complete an application, receive and acceptance email and submit all required documents within 5 days of acceptance.
